Langtang Trek

The Langtang Valley has long been a favorite trek due to its expansive views, interesting Tamang culture, relatively gentle pace and accessibility from Kathmandu. The 2015 earthquake and subsequent landslide had an enormous effect on the region, but aid and reconstruction have recently reopened this valley to trekking again. Not only is it still a beautiful trek, your visit will also provide vital support for local livelihoods.

Everest Trek

The trek to Everest Base Camp is among the most dramatic and picturesque in the Himalaya. The scenery is varied and spectacular, the lodgings and tracks are of a very high standard, and the interaction with the local Sherpa people is truly memorable.

Manaslu Trek

The Manaslu Circuit Trek features everything you'd want from a classic trek in Nepal: Epic scenery, intimate encounters with local people and their ancient culture, and a 17,000-foot (5,100 m) Himalayan pass crossing. Kimkim's trusted partners in Nepal organize weekly group departures during the spring and fall trekking seasons, as well as private treks that can run on any date from February to June and September through November.

Upper Mustang

The region is also known as the ‘Last Forbidden Kingdom’ (organised treks only started visiting the region in 1992, and numbers are restricted with an average of less than 1,000 visiting each year) and it is steeped in undisturbed Tibetan Buddhist culture with ancient monasteries, traditional villages and cave dwellings high up on the cliffs, as well as the stunning architecture on view at the walled city of Lo Manthang (capital of Mustang region).

Round Annapurna

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most legendary trekking routes in the world and although some of the route is tarred these days, it still attracts thousands of trekking enthusiasts every year. In terms of numbers, it is the third most popular trek in Nepal.

Annapurna Base Camp

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek beginning from a base in Pokhara is a great beginner multi-day trek for reasonably fit travellers. We completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek in 7 days without a guide but took a jeep for a short way at the start and end to minimise time.

Kanchenjunga Base Camp

Our Kanchenjunga base camp trek is a superb 26 day holiday in the east of Nepal, with 21 days of actual trekking covering 220 km in an area which is far less visited by tourists and includes a wide range of wonderful scenery from lush, tropical jungle through to rhododendron, chestnut and oak forests and high onto the glaciated base camp of the third highest peak in the world.

Numbur Cheese Circuit

Numbur Cheese Circuit (NCC)' Located in Ramechhap, around 190 km east of the capital city Kathmandu. The NCC is a 14 to 16 days circuit trail connecting two beautiful river valleys, namely the Khimti and Likhu in the lap of Everest and Rolwaling region. The trail has been named in honor of the yet unclimbed peak Numburchuli (6959m) as well as for one of Nepal’s first yak cheese factories established in 1957.

Pikey Peak Trek Nepal

Many say that the view of Mount Everest from Pikey Peak is one of the best in Nepal. That’s a bold statement, but Sir Edmund Hillary himself claimed it to be his favorite, and we're inclined to agree. This trek can be done in three full-on days, or a more leisurely six.
